Bridging the gap to benefit ALL Newhall School District music students, Music Makers PTA is the Parent Support committee for the Music Education Department in the Newhall School District.  We raise funds to:

    * Purchase instruments
    * Commission new music
    * Fund All District Honor Orchestra
    * Fund instrument repairs
    * Hire professional artists to supplement instruction
    * Contribute funding to music program
    * Sponsor “Featured Artist” program

We strive to give all children in the Newhall School District an opportunity to experience the art of music through a “hands on” program of instruction and guidance. We are a non-profit, parent volunteer organization dedicated to making a music program available to everyone. Our parent volunteers donate their time and talents, and assist in fund raising activities that directly enhance the music education program provided by the NSD. Kindergarten through 2nd grade students benefit from an in-classroom music program, 3rd graders  learn to play recorders and music theory and 4th through 6th grade students benefit from Chorus and Instrumental Orchestra programs.
